Radiofrequency Applications

The main purpose of the radiofrequency thermocoagulation process is to desensitize that area to pain by creating a permanent or temporary lesion in or around the nerve through high-frequency electrical currents. The area that will create a lesion is entered with needles specially used for this procedure and a high amount of heat is applied to the tissue.

İşlem esnasında izlenen yollar şu şekildedir;

  • Hasta skopi masasına radyofrekans termokoagülasyon işleminin uygulanacağı alana uygun olacak şekilde yerleştirilir.
  • İşlem öncesi bölge steril hale getirilir.
  • X ışınlarının kullanıldığı ve görüntülemenin sağlandığı skopi cihazıyla işlemin yapılacağı alan görüntülendikten sonra çeşitli özel iğnelerle ağrıyı oluşturan bölgelere girilir.
  • Çeşitli kontroller yapılarak doğru alanda olup olmama durumu sorgulanır.
  • Ardından gerekli uyaranlar verilerek dokuda lezyon oluşturulur.
